Overview

COVID-19 is sending an unprecedented number of children to hospitals, and the overwhelming majority of pediatric patients are unvaccinated.

COVID-19 vaccination does not guarantee that your child won’t get COVID-19, but it does reduce their risk of serious life-threatening complications from the disease. The vaccine has been proven to be safe and effective in children ages 5 and up.

This video, aimed at young children, was created by Yale School of Medicine PhD student Clara Liao; it highlights the importance of vaccination in children.
