William Bradlyn Laskin, MD

Pathology

Biography

William Laskin, MD, is a pathologist who specializes in diagnosing bone and soft tissue sarcomas, rare tumors arising in bone and in the connective tissues throughout the body, such as muscle, nerves, tendons and blood vessels.

The rarity of these diseases means it can be difficult to find pathologists who are highly specialized in diagnosing soft tissues sarcomas, Dr. Laskin explains. In addition to constantly updating his knowledge on the latest developments in soft tissue sarcomas, Dr. Laskin keeps patient care forefront in his mind. “I treat every microscope slide as if it is the patient,” he says.

At Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Laskin is an associate professor of pathology.
