Robert Messina, MD
Biography
Robert Messina, MD, is board certified in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology and has extensive experience in emergency radiology.
Dr. Messina says he enjoys helping patients directly and as well as indirectly as an integral part of a team in the diagnosis and care of patients. “The radiologist is the consult’s consult,” he says. “I love the fact that we can help clinicians of all specialties provide better care for their patients by diagnosing pathology and/or confirming clinically suspected diagnoses.”
He says he aims to treat all patients with the same respect and compassion that he would want someone to impart on his own family members. “It is very important to listen to what a patient has to say and to always be truthful with your responses,” he says. “I enjoy knowing that every day when I go to work, I will be making a difference in someone's life.”
