Richard Bronen, MD, is a neuroradiologist who specializes in the imaging of the brain, face, neck, and spine using X-ray, CT, MRI, and vascular imaging techniques. As a professor of radiology and biomedical imaging at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Bronen's research explores advanced imaging techniques for epilepsy, including machine learning applications to enhance detection of brain disorders. His work also involves studying brain anatomy, including the hippocampus and temporal lobe, in relation to conditions like PTSD and child abuse.

Dr. Bronen received his medical training from Emory University and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Hahnemann Hospital, followed by a fellowship in neuroradiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
