Biography

Benison Keung, MD, is a neurologist who treats patients with general neurological and neuromuscular disorders. He takes special care to give ample time and attention to each patient he meets. He finds that the close proximity of colleagues from multiple specialties makes Yale Medicine the ideal place to practice patient-centered medicine. “Our evaluations go beyond everyday assessments,” he says.

Dr. Keung joined the Yale School of Medicine faculty in 2013 and is now an assistant professor of neurology. His primary research involves studying the cause, progression and management of various peripheral neuropathy syndromes, primary muscle disorders and disorders of neuromuscular transmission. He also focuses on bridging the gap between clinical care and the basic sciences in neuromuscular disorders.
