Cynthia and James Hunt were excited to welcome their first child. When they went in for a routine ultrasound, however, that joy turned to fear. Something was wrong with their baby’s kidney. It was a risky and anxious time.

When she was only a few months old, Adam Hittelman, MD, PhD, performed a 5-hour robotic surgery to repair Rosalie’s kidney and urinary tract. A series of procedures followed. This short documentary captures part of the Hunt family’s remarkable journey at Yale Medicine.
