Family Inherited Arrhythmia Program
As part of Yale New Haven Health’s Heart and Vascular Center and the Children’s Heart Center, the Family Inherited Arrhythmia Program in North Haven helps to identify and manage familial arrhythmia syndromes. It is the only combined pediatric and adult arrhythmia program in Connecticut offering consultation to children and parents at the same appointment.
Conditions or reasons for program evaluation include:
- Arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy
- Brugada syndrome
- Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT)
- Idiopathic ventricular fibrillation
- Long QT syndrome
- Short QT syndrome
- Unexplained cardiac death
