Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria:
Male and female infants under the age of 4 months who have a first- or second-degree family member with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Inclusion criteria:
- Gestational age (GA) at birth between 34-42 weeks
- Appropriate weight for GA at birth
Exclusion criteria:
- GA below 34 weeks
- Congenital infections, non-febrile seizure disorder, hearing loss, visual impairment, any identified chromosomal abnormality
- Prenatal exposure to illicit drugs
- Familial history of any major psychotic disorder in first-degree relatives
Eligibility for participation in study will be determined by intake interview with lab staff, including review of ASD diagnosis in the family member.
