Vaginal Cancer

Definition

Vaginal cancer is a rare type of cancer that originates in the cells lining the vagina, the muscular tube connecting the uterus to the outer genitals. It can occur at any age but is more common in older women. Vaginal cancer may not cause early signs or symptoms, but as it progresses, it can lead to abnormal vaginal bleeding, discharge, or pain during intercourse.
