Soft Tissue Sarcomas

Definition

Soft tissue sarcomas are a group of rare malignant tumors that originate in the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, fat, blood vessels, nerves, tendons, and the lining of joints. These tumors can occur anywhere in the body but are most commonly found in the arms, legs, and trunk. Soft tissue sarcomas can be aggressive and may spread to other parts of the body if not treated promptly.
