Pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma is a rare and aggressive subtype of rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of soft tissue sarcoma that originates from skeletal muscle cells. It is characterized by the presence of pleomorphic (varying in size and shape) tumor cells and is more commonly found in adults. This malignancy can occur in various parts of the body, including the extremities, trunk, and head and neck regions.
