Definition

Grover's disease, also known as transient acantholytic dermatosis, is a skin condition characterized by the sudden onset of small, itchy, red bumps on the chest and back. The exact cause of this condition is unknown, but it is more common in middle-aged and older individuals, particularly men. It is usually self-limiting and resolves on its own within weeks to months.
