Flatfoot, also known as pes planus or fallen arches, is a condition characterized by the absence or underdevelopment of the arch of the foot, resulting in the entire sole of the foot coming into contact with the ground. It can be congenital or acquired and may cause discomfort, pain, or changes in gait.
