Cardiac sarcoidosis is a rare inflammatory condition characterized by the formation of granulomas, or clusters of immune cells, in the heart tissue. This can lead to disruptions in the normal functioning of the heart, potentially causing arrhythmias, heart block, heart failure, or even sudden cardiac death.
