Basosquamous Cell Carcinoma
Definition
Basosquamous cell carcinoma is a rare and aggressive type of skin cancer that exhibits features of both basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. It typically presents as a non-healing ulcer or a scaly, raised lesion on sun-exposed areas of the skin. Due to its aggressive nature, it has a higher risk of local invasion and metastasis compared to other non-melanoma skin cancers.
