Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia (ARVC, ARVD) is a rare heart muscle disorder characterized by the progressive replacement of healthy myocardial tissue with fibro-fatty deposits, primarily affecting the right ventricle. This condition can lead to abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias), heart failure, and an increased risk of sudden cardiac death.
