Angina

Definition

Angina is a type of chest pain that is caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. There are several different types of angina that cause a variety of symptoms, including a feeling of tightness or pressure in the chest; pain that spreads to the shoulders, arms, neck, jaw, or back; dizziness; nausea; and fatigue. Angina is a symptom of coronary artery disease.
